Greetings!

With great pleasure, I would like to take you through the achievements and updates of Dell Technologies Services' sales and delivery teams.

But before that I would like to extend my gratitude to everyone for the immense support shared while working remotely. As per the prelim results, we seem to have met our Q1 FY '21 plans with marketing contribution of$99,843.41 revenue and pipeline revenue as $1,099,269.18.
Given that we were under these challenging times with distant working by customers, partners and Dell employees, I think it is a huge achievement. In the current situation, it is vital to stay digitally connected - connected to your customers, your employees, and your communities. Practicing the same, we share with you the achievements of Q2 in this newsletter.

In closing, I wish everyone a great Q3 FY '21. While we are driving the business, let us all prepare ourselves for the new norm. What are you experiencing, and how can you best be supported? Acknowledging Our Unsung Global Leaders
Ford Motor Company
  • We were recognized by Ford's CEO and CIO for our team's outstanding effort.
  • In March, despite site-based business continuity plans (BCP), these plants and offices were closed simultaneously due to COVID-19. In an unprecedented move, all Ford employees were asked to work from home (WFH) immediately and without warning.
  • Ford immediately needed fast, creative solutions to keep their workers safe and productive.
  • The Dell Technologies Services team created a process to fully onboard Ford Motor Company new hires and interns remotely, which will require Configuration Services imaging 730 laptops.
  • Prior to these changes, onboarding was done in person at a Ford location with employees on Ford's network.
We were call aloud and appreciated by Ford India and Ford Global for providing deployment support during Covid-19 lockdown. We did receive an appreciation from Michael Dell as well.

Delivery Project Success @ Cognizant Technology Solutions - India

Background: CTS has deiced to deploy HCI environment (Vxrail Nodes - 88 no) to multiple department`s critical need to enable VDI for employees to work from home.

Challenges: COVID19 Lockdown situation and Stringent Go-Live timelines

Success: Through critical Resource alignment , Planning & Seamless collaboration between RDC & Deploy teams resulting complete solution deployed in 5 days.
BSNL (Govt. Telecom), India

Background: BSNL, India Government Telco reported data unavailability due to multiple drive failures in Symmetrix Array.CTS has deiced to deploy HCI environment (Vxrail Nodes - 88 no) to multiple department`s critical need to enable VDI for employees to work from home.

Challenges: Applications like Billing Clarity, IOBAS & Oracle DB were down for almost 7 to 14 hours which impacted 25K users.

Success: Kumar KVS (SAM) along with field team worked for almost 18+ hours continuously during this weekend to ensure customer data is recovered.
DEPLOY Project by YES Bank

Background: The bank wanted to enable digital transformation by building a private cloud infrastructure with modern servers, storage, networking and virtualization technology.

Challenges:
  • Complex environment with variety of technology
  • Next GEN customer with complex demanding ask
  • Multiple customer stakeholders at different layers & dynamic priority changes
  • Last phase deployment was completed in the challenging COVID-19 times
  • Stringent deadlines and multiple dependencies on different YBL teams
  • Bank environment with lot of security features enabled
Success:
  • One Dell Technologies Team - working as a single taskforce with HES, IDS, Consulting & VMware LOBs. For customer it was one DELL implementation team, internally collaborating seamlessly between all LOB's
  • Engagement of engineering & global corporate team to address complex ask and 1st time ever deployment of few unique features
  • Handling customer internal politics at various levels
  • Handling multiple child projects & related stakeholders planning, designing & implementation at same time.
  • Adaptivity to dynamic customer requirements
  • Excellent project plan, strong commitment & extensive documentation
Webinars
We are very delighted to inform that we successfully conducted 6 webinars in Q2 FY '21, exclusively for partners and customers.
Accelerate Adoption of Microsoft Teams with Dell Technologies Services was conducted on 19 May, 2020. It was an APJ driven webinar exclusively for customers to accelerate adoption of MS teams with Dell Technologies.
Consult, Deploy, Manage, Support and Educate Webinar took place on 20 May, 2020 for customers to enable talent and empower teams with the right skills to lead and execute transformational strategy that drives competitive advantage. There were 908 registrations, 193 attendees, and 128 unique account attendees.
Windows 10 Modern Deployment and Servicing Webinar took place on 25 and 30 June which aimed at Modern Provisioning and Factory Integration.
In the times to follow, we conducted Dell Technologies' Consulting Services | Residency Services | Multi-Vendor Support Webinar on 9 July and 21 July respectively. We also promoted all these webinars on WhatsApp and uploaded posts on all the social media platform. Another webinar.
APOS Updates
Dell Technologies conducted "Be an APOS Rockstar" throughout the quarter for internal ISRs to engage and create that stickiness with ISRs on APOS. On-demand training was provided and upon completion of that, their knowledge was as well tested. There were 73+ active participants. If they scored an above average points, they got a chance to spin the APOS wheel to win attractive prizes.
MVS Updates
MVS Email Campaign

We understand managing hardware maintenance contracts for multiple OEMs can be time consuming, often resulting in high operating costs and suboptimal use of resources. Hence we successfully conducted Dell India campaign to promote MVS Email Campaign on 2 June, 2020.
The main objective was to maintain the hardware for multiple OEMs and focus on business runs to improve the efficiency, quickly resolve issues and focus on strategic initiatives. We also promoted all this webinar on WhatsApp and uploaded posts on all the social media platform. We are as well conducting Lead Gen Campaign for MVS.
Channel Updates
The Ultimate iPam Race

The Ultimate iPam Race was an excellent opportunity for all the iPams to showcase their skills, answer questions based on channel services and win points that could be redeemed for exciting gifts. The campaign mechanics was simple and divided into Bi-weekly Winners and Top Performer.
The top 2 bi-weekly winners who had achieved their highest content rate growth and services revenue impact were entitled to enter the digital race to score and accumulate points. The top 2 winners with the most points were ranked and won a mystery gift* worth US$100**. Top performer was chosen based on the individual who had achieved the highest content rate growth and services revenue impact. That one lucky winner won a Dell monitor* worth US$500.
Trivia Game with Dell Technologies Services
Amidst the lockdown when all are working distantly and remotely, Dell Technologies Services planned and designed Trivia Game with Dell Technologies Services exclusively for Reddington India Ltd. Sales makers to motivate them during COVID-19 breakdown.
This trivia quiz game was conducted on 25 April, 2020 wherein a link was shared with the contestants that contained 12 questions with optional answers. Each question was given 30 seconds to choose the answer and the top 10 qualifiers were rewarded with INR 500 voucher. A lot of participation and enthusiasm was seen during this quiz time.

Heroes Event
An exclusive event was organized to thank the Services APJ Speakers for their immense support and participation in Q2 Dell Technologies Heroes APJ Virtual events. It took place on 28 May and 24 June 2020, respectively in India. Heroes team has been working on the process of handling the new leads at this moment, and very gladly we passed on the new leads reports to Michelle for further action.
